Chewy Chocolate Cherry Cookie Bars

• 1  cup  all-purpose flour 
• 1/3  cup  unsweetened cocoa
• 1/2  teaspoon  baking powder
• 1/4  teaspoon  baking soda
• 1/4  teaspoon  salt
• 1  cup  sugar
• 1/3  cup  butter, softened
• 1  teaspoon  vanilla extract
• 1  large egg
• 1/4 cup  dried tart cherries
• 1/4 cup milk 

Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and milk. Mix the dry ingredients together in a small bowl and beat into the wet mixture. Spread into a 8x8inch glass baking dish. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

 Once the brownies are cool you can drizzle some melted white chocolate on top.
